Trafalgar reveals new trip styles in the US and Canada
Samantha Mayling
Trafalgar has unveiled three new trip styles – Active, State Explorer and City Explorer – with its 2020 USA & Canada brochure. Active itineraries enable clients
to book trails or walks best suited to their fitness level. A 10-day Utah’s Mighty Five
National Parks tour costs from £2,625 and has trails and hikes available every day. State Explorer trips are offered
in Hawaii, Colorado, California and Massachusets, and offer the chance for clients to explore each region in more depth. Te City Explorer range has
added San Francisco and New York to Trafalgar’s short-trip offering around the world. Clients can select ‘Daily Choice’
options such as a behind-the- scenes walking tour of Broadway in New York – with the chance to meet a member of the cast of the musical Hamilton – or a Golden Gate Bridge guided walk in San Francisco followed by lunch in the town of Sausalito. Prices in the USA & Canada brochure start at £1,595 for a

five-day San Francisco Explorer itinerary. Te rates in the brochure do not include flights from the UK. Overall, the brochure features
12 new itineraries, which include tours of Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, national parks, California’s Pacific Coast Highway, Alaska, southwestern US and Newfoundland. For every booking made from the 2020 programme, agents will receive a £40 Amazon giſt card. Sales managers will also be
visiting agencies across the country with Trafalgar-branded chocolates and a copy of the 2020 brochure.
