5. 50 GRAND GESTURE: Jetset chairman John Bond makes a £50,000 donation to global water charity Just a Drop. The sum given was a nod to the trade-only operator’s 50th anniversary, which it celebrates this year. The money will be used to support a health clinic in Uganda.
