Ikos Resorts adds to luxury properties with Ikos Aria hotel in Kos


Ikos Resorts is to add a fourth property on the Greek island of Kos to its collection of luxury all-inclusive resorts. The five-star, all-inclusive Ikos Aria is slated to open in May 2019 with 373 “contemporary and stylish” rooms with private balconies, pools and gardens on a 47-acre beachfront location in the southwest of the island, 20 minutes from Kos airport. restaurants will be curated by Michelin-starred chefs. As well as waiter service on the beach, guests will also have the option of a ‘dine out’ service to eat at selected local restaurants included in the price of

their stay. There will be a free kids’ club and 24-hour room service. Mixologists will make cocktails


at seven on-site bars. Facilities will include a gym, tennis court, basketball, paddleboarding, beach badminton, table tennis, aerobics classes, pilates, Zumba, a spa and hair salon. Ikos Aria is available to book for stays from May 15, 2019. Rates

Hard Rock will open property in Madrid next year

Hard Rock International is to open a Hard Rock Hotel in Madrid next year.


The music-centric hotel brand,


part of the Palladium Group, is spending €25 million on the 159-room city centre property. Hard Rock Hotel Madrid will


be opposite the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in the Atocha district of Madrid. The Royal Botanical Gardens, the Prado art museum, Madrid’s largest railway station and access to Spain’s high-speed rail network AVE, are also nearby. It will be aimed at both leisure and business travellers and feature Hard Rock’s branded amenities such as its Body Rock gym,
