New addition: Marmot Lodge, Jasper HH In the centre of Jasper National Park, this hotel is a great addition to the Gold Medal portfolio and offers a convenient base for exploring. New addition: The Great George HHH The Great George is an upscale, award-winning hotel in Prince Edward’s Island capital, Charlottetown. With 54 richly decorated suites among 17 carefully restored heritage buildings, this is a property like no other. Originally called The Regent Hotel, the property was built in 1846 by James H. Downe, through the years the property has been carefully renovated to retain its original charm with a modern twist. See page 75

Did you know? A recent travel report showed that the beach holiday still reigns as king. When asked what travellers wanted most from a holiday, ‘beach holiday’ come out top with 62%, while ‘enjoying natural landscapes’ come in second with 48%. The Caribbean is home to the ultimate beach destinations with sun, sea and sand in abundance, plus history, outdoor pursuits and charm too. So if your customers agree with the results of the report, be sure to suggest the Caribbean for their perfect holiday.
