Jet2 boosts Iceland options with flights from nine UK airports


Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their Iceland range, with flights now available from all nine of the airline’s UK bases for winter 2020-21. Scheduled flights from


Birmingham and Manchester will be available for the first time, plus new packages from Stansted, Belfast International and Edinburgh. Twice-weekly services from


Manchester and Birmingham will operate on Mondays and Thursdays during the best periods to see the northern lights – October 1-November 23 and February 11-April 26. Three, four and seven-night stays are available. There are 37 new packages

Sunvil diversifies with African islands, Finland and rail travel

Sunvil has launched its first holidays to the remote two-island nation of São Tomé and Príncipe in the Gulf of Guinea, off the west coast of equatorial Africa. Other new holidays include Greece by rail, new


Greek islands, Scandinavia by rail and the new destination of Finland. Furthermore, Sunvil is strengthening its UK sales


team, recruiting sales executives for the north and the south of the UK, and unveiling a new trade sales manager in mid-February. The new São Tomé and Príncipe range features


holidays at three properties – Omali, Roca Sundy and Bom Bom – with prices from £2,024 for seven nights’ B&B at Omali on a twin-share basis including flights. Meanwhile, flight-free holidays are being developed
