Best at Travel agent Rosaria Cipollaro has described her shock after discovering she was the first of two winners of a trade incentive which will see her jet off to Dubai with nine guests. Rosaria, who is originally
from Italy and has worked for Best at Travel for 18 months, won the incredible prize in a competition run by Dubai Parks and Resorts, Qantas and the Lapita Hotel, in association with Travel Weekly. To win the first of two
holidays for 10 people, Rosaria had to beat other agents to make the most qualifying bookings between January 12 and April 18. The second winner will be the agent who makes the most qualifying bookings between May 1 and November 30. “I have so many friends
since I won the prize!” joked Rosaria. “I will have to make the right decision on who comes with me, or I will have many enemies.” Rosaria found out she was the winner of the prize at the Peaks Performance Awards from My Booking Rewards,
held at the Café de Paris in London.
She said: “I was shocked when I heard my name read out, and I can’t wait to experience it all for myself as I think your perspective changes when you have been somewhere and can sell it with more confidence.” Rosaria said interest in
Dubai Parks and Resorts was sky-high after the £2.8 billion theme park destination opened this spring. “We sell a lot of Dubai, and this is a great addition. Before, there wasn’t a huge amount of choice of parks for families, but now you have these wonderful parks which our customers are going crazy for.
“The parks are close to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but having the Lapita Hotel on-site is also a great selling point.” She added: “We know the
standards on Qantas are very high, and it is great for our customers that they can now include a stop-off in Dubai and aren’t limited to the far east.”

The next agent to win a holiday for 10 to Dubai will earn their prize by making the most bookings to Dubai between May 1 and November 30. Bookings must include Dubai Parks and Resorts tickets with Qantas flights and/or a stay at the Lapita Hotel. There are also monthly prizes of £250 for the agent making the most qualifying bookings in
