Janu Diriyah will open near Unesco site Salwa Palace
Aman Group announces expansion in Saudi Arabia with two openings
Aman Group will add two hotels to its portfolio in Saudi Arabia in 2026, in partnership with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. Aman Wadi Safar, which will
be near to the capital of Riyadh, will include a 78-room hotel and 34 branded residences. It will also have a large Aman Spa and a range of restaurants. The second property will fall under Aman’s sister brand, Janu. The 120-room
Janu Diriyah will be located close to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Salwa Palace in At Turaif, and Riyadh. Aman Group has three properties – two Aman hotels and one Janu – in the pipeline in the northwestern city of AlUla. The group also recently unveiled
Project Sama, its first luxury motor yacht, which will offer voyages in the
Red Sea and Mediterranean.

Zannier Hotels to oversee revamp of private island in France
Zannier Hotels has been appointed to manage the redesign of private island Île de Bendor in the south of France. The six-hectare island, which is 300 metres off the coast
of the commune of Bandol, will undergo a total renovation, and is expected to reopen as Zannier Hotels Bendor in 2026. The island will be transformed into a ‘Provençal-style village’
featuring a 93-room hotel and a range of bars and restaurants, including the second outpost of Nonna Bazaar, the immersive dining concept Zannier launched in Menorca last year. The social spaces will include a beach club, curated artisan
village, holistic wellness offerings and a spa. Zannier Hotels will oversee all aspects of the island’s
redevelopment including the architecture, landscaping and interior design.
Île de Bendor marks Zannier Hotels’ sixth property, joining Le Chalet in France; Phum Baitang in Cambodia; Omaanda
and Sonop in Namibia; and Bãi San Hô in Vietnam.
