Explora Journeys has unveiled a global brand campaign designed to “challenge traditional cruise conventions”. The short-film-style advertising

trade assets, with visuals accompanied by statements such as ‘Maybe it’s time to view ocean travel, through a luxury hotel lens’ and ‘Maybe when clients can slow down, bookings move faster’. Speaking to Aspire, Explora Journeys president Anna Nash said: “For our travel
advisor community, this campaign is about helping them with brand awareness, as well as reframing ocean travel for existing guests and yet-to-cruise clients.” The launch of the campaign comes as Explora Journeys enters a period of “exponential growth” that will see its fleet expand from two to six ships over the next two years. Explora III is due to set sail this summer, marking the brand’s first LNG-powered ship, followed by Explora IV and Explora V in 2027 and Explora VI in 2028.

Beaten only by Alaska and Texas in size, it’s no surprise that the Golden State offers far more than its renowned sandy stretches. Our Luxury Travel Designer, Sarah-Jane, uncovered some of California’s finest moments: witnessing the dramatic silhouettes of El Capitan and Half Dome from Yosemite’s Tunnel View, exploring Pebble Beach’s iconic 17-Mile Drive, and cycling through the salt-kissed air of Crissy Field for Golden Gate Bridge panoramas.
In San Diego, the Mexican spirit shone through the Old Town’s beautifully decorated ‘Day of the Dead’ celebrations, while seal watching in La Jolla and boarding a fighter jet on the USS Midway added to the highlights. Her final taste of California? A rosy-hued ‘Feeling Pretty’ cocktail at the Beverly Wilshire.
