SASA, an integrated polymer and chemical producer based in Turkey, is able to claim the largest Dimethyl Terephthalate (DMT) production capacity in the world. DMT is the main monomer of PET and PBT polymers. Most of the production is used for internal consumption, while the rest is sold in solid form. SASA’s main production facility is located in Adana and established on a fi eld of 1,800,000 m2. The company’ production capacity was estimated to have been 1,370,000 tons this year.
