NEW MENTORING PLATFORM
On 4 March, students from 36 countries celebrated their exam achievements in our first ever hybrid awards event.
BBC presenter Huw Edwards hosted the event, held at Mansion House in London. We celebrated 170 winners in total from 2020 and 2021, as there was no in-person event in 2020 owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Monday 4 July, we launched a mentoring scheme as a new member benefit. We had an overwhelming response from our members, with 197 registering in the first 24 hours and a total of 400 mentors and mentees signed up to date.
Mentoring can be highly advantageous for all those who participate. It provides a real opportunity to gain perspective on a shared area and uncover aspects of your profession you have never thought to explore. By partaking in the CISI mentoring scheme, both mentors and mentees will discover that there are several tangible and intangible benefits, some of which are immediate and others that will be recognisable in the long run.
Our innovative mentoring platform, hosted by Perform Learn Development, matches mentors and mentees together using advanced algorithms and offers exclusive career development and tracking programmes to monitor personal progress against agreed goals.

Winners include students from Burkina Faso, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Ghana, Israel, Slovenia, and Tanzania.
