Hydraulic chuck toolholder suits multi-task machines

Spindle nose toolholding in

standard sizes and popular formats - collet chucks, end mill holders, hydraulic, milling chucks and heat shrink clamping – as well as special designs suited to specific industry applications, will be exhibited by Gewefa UK.

The company will present

its new concept of a hydraulic chuck toolholder designed for turning applications on multi-task machines. There will also be examples

from the face and taper range of toolholders and, making its UK debut, the M96ER hydraulic collet

chuck, which features a cutter securing concept that reduces spindle run out and automatic tool centring.

UK partners will also feature on the stand.

Cables meet most demanding applications

From ladle cars in the steel industry to submarines in the oceans, Habia Cable’s custom designed cables and cable systems are developed to withstand the most harsh environments. When a cable needs to be exposed

for fire, heat, acid, radiance, pressure or withstand millions of bending cycles and twist there are multiple things to consider in the design and choice of materials. The company’s long experience and expertise in development and manufacturing of wires, cables and cable assemblies, can help customers find the most

suitable, yet cost-eff icient solution for a specific application – no matter how demanding or extreme. The company always aims to

provide competitive lead times and off ers low minimum order quantities.

Based on the tried and trusted quick change collet style system, Hainbuch UK’s modular workholding system is accurate and rigid to take the demanding speeds and feeds of modern machining. The system can be added to

quickly and easily with mandrels, jaw chucks and a variety of other adaptions making a versatile workholding set up which can be changed over accurately thanks to the patented, zero point location system. Now there is no need to keep

taking that heavy three-jaw chuck on and off the machine! The company can supply a system for most CNC machines rotation or static with bar and chucking capacity from 3.0 to 400mm

Precision meshes meet challenging applications

Weaving fine meshes using stainless steel is a core competency of G Bopp. Its SI range was developed

specifically for sieving and sizing operations, off ering high levels of weaving accuracy, regularity and definition with above average thermal and corrosion resistance. According to the company, compared to polyester meshes, the range provides excellent throughput combined with a long service life and reduced downtime.

The FI filtration and separation

mesh range includes medium, fine and ultra-fine filter meshes, produced by weaving machines, in clean and air conditioned halls.

Resistance tester is shielded for accuracy

Claimed to represent a dramatic improvement over existing surface insulation resistance (SIR) test alternatives, the AutoSir 2+ will be exhibited by Gen3 Systems. Its shielded precision electronics allows accurate resistance

measurements to be made up to 1014Ω, adds the company. The SIR tester permits

simultaneous tests at up to four voltages. The user can select three from 0, 3.3, 5.0, 10, 12.5, 15, 50 and 100V. By using an external power supply, an additional test maybe

run simultaneously, at up to 1.250V. The company will also show the

Hirox digital microscope system, the SpiderEye and PowerSpector GTAz 350 by MEK.
