Inspector Pentagon walked into the drawing room of Shape Hall to fi nd the maid, Ms Circle, lying dead on the fl oor. All of the suspects for the murder were present: Lord Rectangle, Lady Rhombus, Sir Square, Prince Parallelogram and media mogul Terence Triangle. Inspector Pentagon took one look around the room and announced that he knew who was guilty of the terrible crime. ‘The person who is responsible for this infamous act has 4 sides,’ he announced. Terence Triangle heaved a sigh of relief. The inspector directed the 2 policemen who were with him to arrest the person whose opposite sides were equal, whose opposite sides were parallel, who had 4 right angles and who was a regular kind of a chap. The policemen scratched their heads and looked at each other in bewilderment. They did not know who to arrest. Can you follow all of the clues and help them to identify the guilty person?
