1. Find 5 containers that hold liquid and place them in order, starting with the container that holds the most to the container that holds the least.
2. Name 5 liquids that you would fi nd in your classroom.
3. Find 5 different types of bottle. Place them in order, starting with the one that you think holds the most to the one that holds the least. Fill the bottle that you think holds the most with water. Pour this water into the next bottle until it’s full. Pour the water from the second bottle into the third bottle and so on until you have fi lled the fi fth bottle. If you have guessed the order of the bottles correctly, what should be left in each bottle?
Remember: Capacity is a measure of the amount of liquid a container can hold.
