EVENTS GOMA 2019
GOMA has traditionally held a symposium every year, in the third week of October, changing the topic of the symposium from the fuels to lubricants. In other words, the GOMA Lubricants & Base Oils Symposium is a biennial event focused primarily on issues affecting the lubricants industry, which includes issues related to the development of base stocks and additives, application, regulation and environmental care. This event is organised by the Croatian Society for Fuels and Lubricants - GOMA, the last three times in partnership with European Lubricating Grease Institute - ELGI.
In accordance with outstanding grades of the last symposium questionnaire, the organiser has again decided to organise this demanding three-day international meeting at the Esplanade Hotel, Zagreb’s most iconic and most prestigious historic hotel. This hotel was built in 1925 in Art Deco style to provide accommodation for passengers of the famous Orient Express train, which travelled between
Paris and Istanbul and still today offers their guests an unforgettable experience. As the organisers’ main intention is to provide all participants with an exceptional place for discussion, discovering the latest industry and regulatory developments and building professional networks at an affordable price, choosing a venue for this event was a clear choice.
This event is aiming to induce a high level of participation and to provide the appropriate platform to dialogue and network with peers. So for that reason the format of the event will be a combination of professional presentations, panel discussion, seminar, networking coffee breaks and other social events to encourage maximum interaction. All lecturers are senior professionals with years of experience from acclaimed companies and organisations.
