ELID 2017 is now ready to use Sponsored by
ELID (the European Lubricants Industry Directory) has acted as the official industry directory of UEIL for the past seven years. Launched in 2010, ELID starting life in three formats: as a CD-ROM database which was given away annually with LUBE Magazine, a PDF document and hosted on the then-new Lube Media website.
Initially sourced from publically available data, the directory brought together a vast array of information on companies from across the lubricant industry. These included: • Base stock producers and suppliers • Suppliers of additives and raw materials • Lubricant stockists and distributors • Lubricant blenders • Grease manufacturers • Suppliers of associated goods and services The directory also has entries for lubricant industry trade bodies from across Europe.
Over the years, ELID has proven itself an invaluable industry resource. The directory is now exclusively available on the Lube Media website, with information provided and verified by the entrant companies themselves. The directory is a source of dependable information that is both accessible and easily navigable and searchable to any visitor to the site, without need of subscription.
In 2016 alone, the main ELID page on the Lube Media site was visited by 6600 people, with over 100,000 visitors making use of the directory as a whole to search through a panoply of lubricant companies and associated businesses with ease.
All companies involved in the European lubricants industry are eligible for a placement on ELID. The directory currently contains over 1000 entries of Lubricants industry associated companies, with the potential to expand even further.
The Lube-Media team strives to ensure that ELID remains the most reliable and up-to-date source of industry information available. Every year, ELID is updated to ensure that it contains the most contemporary information for its existing entrants. Additionally, the annual update also gives other companies not yet listed on the directory, the opportunity to have their own entries submitted onto the directory.
We have recently completed the update for 2017 and we are already making preparation for the next annual update in 2018.
