This year’s Congress keynote speaker is Manfred H. Müller, of the Lufthansa Flight Safety Department.


He is a Lecturer on Risk Management, University Bremen and joined Lufthansa in 1979 and since then has held a variety of posts. He is currently General Manager Flight Safety. Present Work Topics are:


• Research Project (financed by the German Government and Lufthansa): ‘Evidence Based Risk Management’, creating Safety Performance Indicators


• Validation of Safety Concepts • Risk Management Seminars and Workshops for various industries: e.g. Mining, Chemical Industry, Public Transport, Banking.


He will share with delegates his thoughts and views on his experience of Increasing Safety by Implementing Optimised Team Interaction -Experiences of the Aviation Industry.
