right The cabinetry is from Tom Howley’s Hartford collection, painted in Moonstone with natural oak internals. To add a contemporary twist and tie in with the appliances, Tom chose the company’s bespoke Harper handle with a matt black finish.


below right To break up the full wall of cabinetry, Tom has incorporated glass-fronted cabinets and chosen Caesarstone Jumbo Calacatta Nuvo worktops, which work well in lifting the room and creating an illusion of additional light.

below “The key thing with the whole kitchen was to design an aesthetically pleasing, functional place to relax, cook, and entertain for the whole family.”


“The room is a lovely, light space and even with two almost fully glazed walls I have been able to ensure that the kitchen offers more than enough space for the whole family. Every cupboard, drawer, shelf, or pantry has been designed to meet the desire for lots of storage. To get around limited worktop space within the L-shaped layout, I have incorporated an island, big enough to seat three people, which offers invaluable preparation space. On one side of the run, clever storage solutions such as drawers surrounding the induction hob and oven mean there is easy access to pots, pans, and crockery. On the other, the full-height pantry provides a plethora of storage for dry goods and tins. A breakfast cupboard gives the family even more worktop space, but also provides easy storage for kitchen essentials such as a coffee machine and juicer. This way, more visible areas of the scheme are kept streamlined and clutter free. This combination of the bespoke pantry, breakfast cupboard and built-in fridge-freezer along the back wall creates a perfectly symmetrical finish.” Tom Howley kitchens start from £20,000.
