Poggenpohl
The tagline of Poggenpohl’s open house was ‘Spotting New Dimensions’. Each of its new kitchens, the brand says, offers a totally unique style. It starts with the Palazzo Souvenirs kitchen island, a modern interpretation of a Terrazzo design made with dark Nero Portoro marble. Another striking island is the Rosso Lepanto (pictured), which features a piece of red marble.
In contrast, the City Jewels kitchen is a bright range made with a worktop of gold ceramics and an iridescent door veneer. While the majority of the designs are bold, Poggenpohl has also introduced a new white kitchen that it says gives an opulent look to a standard kitchen.
Other highlights of Poggenpohl's open-house include Tamed Nature, a dark wood kitchen finished with a striking blue worktop, and Green Alchemy, a sleek design in a light forest green colour finish. Also on display was its new Showcase cabinet – an illuminated glass display cabinet.
Pronorm
The theme for Pronorm’s open house was ‘Colours of Nature’ and the brand introduced 17 new real-wood veneers and melamine doors. The collection offers a range of price groups from premium real wood-veneered doors to wood grains in blacks and greys. It also introduced a new custom-match service to RAL and NCS colour swatches. Plus new furniture designs and glass elements to meet the increased demand for open-plan living spaces. One of the main displays was the premium i-luminate handleless kitchen, which will be only available through appointed dealers. The i-luminate has unique features like integrated handle illumination and the freedom to use any of Pronorm’s 250 door finishes. Retailers can request to become a Gallery Dealer to sell this exclusive kitchen. Roger Klinkenberg, joint managing director of Pronorm, said: “Nature is our
preferred choice for inspiration and gives our new products an exciting twist that we intend will appeal to the emotion and senses of our customers. The increasing desire for individualisation in the home is, from our perspective, a key driver behind our product development to provide furniture that creates a satisfying living experience.”
Keller Kitchens
Keller Kitchens teamed up with surface brands Jetstone and Caesarstone to present its new products for 2022. The new collection includes a stainless- steel door with open shelves, which is pictured, and various new fronts, handles and finishes that will launch in Q1 of 2022. Tim Spann, Keller’s UK head of sales, said about the exhibition: “It was
great to see this event take place and on such a vast scale again. The display areas were clearly not quite as busy as in previous years, as travel is still challenging. However, our showcase space remained busy with a steady flow of visitors from all over Europe, including the UK, throughout the event. “We were delighted with the higher-than-expected footfall and the excellent
response to our forthcoming new range additions. On the whole, a resounding success and congratulations to the organisers and the entire Keller team for making this event happen again.”
Rotpunkt
Dark and natural wood finishes were two of the main themes running through Rotpunkt's 2021 open house. Many of the kitchens on display highlighted how its furniture works well as open-plan concepts, with its sleek designs that blend from kitchen to living space. The majority of the new doors feature wooden tones, including the recent Memory RI door, pictured in Forest Oak with the new Just Grey door. The vertical grooves give it an unusual finish and it comes in four colours, including Pastel Smoke, Black and a ready-to-paint option.
More newcomers to the Rotpunkt portfolio include Xerox MA in monochrome tones like black, white, and grey, plus Kashmir and Magnolia. Rotpunkt has also included a laundry solution in the form of cabinets that perfectly fit a washing machine.
