FALMEC DAVID FELL


Premium kitchen appliance specialist Falmec has announced the addition of David Fell to its UK sales team as regional business manager for the north of England. Over the past 23 years, Fell has covered a similar catchment area for Blanco UK and, as a result, has significant experience in selling cooker hoods, sinks, and tap ranges. “I am grateful to Ron Blount, Sean Drumm and all at Falmec UK for providing me with this much-needed new challenge in my career,” said Fell. “It gives me great pleasure to be representing such an iconic Italian brand and I am looking forward to introducing its extensive range of premium extraction and induction products to my dealer network in the north of England.”

CARL WADLEY


Shower tray manufacturer JT has appointed Carl Wadley as southern key account manager to continue to drive sales and develop the business in the south of England. Wadley brings with him 16 years’ experience in the bathroom showroom sector, having previously worked for Bathroom Brands and MyLife Bathrooms. In his new role, Wadley will be working closely with JT’s southern partners to ensure that they have all the tools at their disposal to put JT at the forefront of their shower tray offerings. Commenting on his new position, Wadley said: “The best part of my role is without a doubt the customers. It’s so good to be able to meet new people in person again and help them to achieve their sales targets is all the sweeter.”

Lapicida has made two new senior appointments. Neil Thompson (pictured right) has been appointed as group sales and marketing director. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the luxury retail sector, he will focus on growing the company, promoting the tile and stone supplier’s own collections, as well as partner products. Formerly an operations director within the manufacturing industry, Brian Hunter-Howard (pictured left) has now been appointed as head of warehouse and logistics, and joins with experience of electrical and marble exports. Hunter-Howard is tasked to develop a strong network of systems and processes that support the continued growth of the business.

SIMON ACRES GROUP NEW APPOINTMENTS


KBB and merchant service provider Simon Acres Group has appointed seven new staff in response to growing demand across a number of its specialist services. Louis Martin, Laura Cousins and Amber Taylor join industry jobs board KBB Recruitment, which recently relocated to its own dedicated premises. Shoned Mirza and Tracy Chan have joined Simon Acres Group as administrative support, alongside Haidee Moule and Cara Tomkins, who take up positions in the group’s headhunt service. Simon Acres Group managing director, Simon Acres said: “With a positive outlook for the KBB sector, we are confident that we can continue to build on our success and deliver amazing results for our clients.”
