ISH digital | SHOW REVIEW

Undeterred by the lack of a physical show, a host of influential brands came together to support this year’s digital version of the bathroom industry’s biggest trade fair – ISH

ISH provided live and on-demand broadcast content online

T

his year’s ISH fair went ahead albeit in a slightly different format than it ever has before.

Scores of events across the globe had to be cancelled because of the coronavirus threat and the bathroom industry’s biggest trade fair – ISH – was among the casualties. However, despite not being able to host the event in the conventional live, face-to-face format as initially planned, rather than deprive the sector of this opportunity to network with a global audience, organiser – Messe Frankfurt – made the decision to run it as a virtual event instead.

This special, digital platform was live from March 22 to 26 and included a comprehensive programme of real-time events, new product launches, on-demand broadcasts and appointments for online meetings with exhibitors.

While face-to-face networking was undoubtedly missed, this digital format gave the global bathroom industry a unique opportunity to attend the fi ve-day event from the comfort of their homes and offi ces. Read on for a round-up of some of the key highlights from the show...
