CP Hart revamps flagship showroom in Waterloo
CP HART bathrooms has updated its flagship showroom in Waterloo with brand new products, four wellness-themed displays
from
guest designers, the UK’s first Pod and PUC Studio and the only Dornbracht design specification studio in the UK.
Speaking at the showroom launch, chairman Richard Reynolds said: “Our collective aim as a business is to introduce the most innovative and exciting bathrooms that we can into the UK. As much as we can, we specify and make our products here in the UK. But, of course, we are also committed to showing products from our international brand partners.” Four designers were each given a display space in the showroom and asked to create an area under the theme of ‘wellness’. Each display is unique, although there are common themes like sustainability or the holistic elements of wellness about how all senses should be considered. The display created by architecture studio Bradley Van Der Straeten spirals from the pink freestanding basins around the curved corner to a shower area with a raised bath.
Japanese wellness was explored in the display by Karen Howes, founder of Taylor Howes Designs. This bathroom (pictured far right) features a curved display that creates zones and flows from the sauna area to the freestanding bath to the walk-in shower.

a biophilic ceiling, green tiles, and Sonaike’s bespoke purple geometric wallpaper.
At the entrance to the showroom is a narrow display by Charu Gandhi, the founder of design studio Elicyon. It has a striking design with a canvas tent ceiling and natural elements like the jade green onyx that has been used to create a showering space and also a feature wall behind the copper bath. The Dornbracht Design Studio is the the brands first specification area in the UK. The site is designed to showcase a wide variety of products from the showering collections and tap samples that can be easily touched and moved by designers visiting the space. The CP Hart Pod and PUC Studio is said to be the first of its kind in the UK. There are four prefabricated modular
(Pod) bathrooms in three price brackets – good, better, best – to showcase how these popular systems can be used in all types of construction, including
luxury homes and hotels. There are also two displays of Prefabricated Utility Cupboard (PUC). New collections from Ideagroup, Duravit, Toto, Armani Roca, Gessi, Axor and Duravit also feature alongside exclusive CP Hart vanity units.
