SOTTINI MATT BELL GARY MAJOR


Sottini has added two new members to its retail team with Matt Bell (right) and Gary Major (left) as regional sales managers. Together the pair have a combined 50 years’ experience. Bell has worked for Villeroy and Boch, Grohe and Aqualisa. Before that, he spent his time as a bathroom designer at plumbing merchant Michael Pavis. Major worked at Heritage Bathrooms as commercial manager and also used to run his own showroom. Channel director Adam Evans said: “We are thrilled to welcome Gary and Matt to the team. They bring a wealth of commercial and strategic experience and will provide our retail partners with the best possible service.”

KUDOS SIMON DONNELLY


Simon Donnelly (pictured) has been appointed by British showering brand Kudos in the role of product development manager. Donnelly joined the business almost a year ago as a mechanical designer, but has now been promoted to this new position. He originally came to Kudos with a broad base of design and engineering experience, having worked in new product development across many industries, including architectural metalwork, playground equipment and transportation. Kudos managing director Mark Hill said of his appointment: “We have such a busy new product development programme ahead, we decided to create a role that oversees all new product projects.”


CAESARSTONE TONY QUINN


Tony Quinn has joined Caesarstone’s sales team. He will be responsible for managing and developing the company’s business with key kitchen and bathroom retailers, showrooms and fabricators in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Quinn has more than 15 years’ experience in the KBB industry, working with manufacturers and distributors. After spending the past four years working in the surfaces sector, he has extensive knowledge of the inner workings of kitchen and bathroom businesses. Quinn will harness his expert knowledge to grow Caesarstone’s business with premium retailers and fabricators in key areas of the South-East.

VIRTUAL WORLDS LUKE BOTTOMLEY


Virtual Worlds has added to its sales team with the appointment of Luke Bottomley as regional sales manager for the East. Bottomley has worked in the KBB technology sector for many years. He joins Virtual Worlds from Excitech – a technology solutions provider for the construction sector. Prior to this, Bottomley spent 11 years with ArtiCAD as area sales manager for the South-East. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving new business for the eastern region and developing existing accounts. Bottomley said: “I look forward to exploring and developing opportunities with retailers, builders, developers and interior designers, taking virtual reality to market and being part of a pioneer in the field.”

STEVE WOODWORTH


Steve Woodworth (pictured) has been appointed as sales manager for MHK UK. He will be responsible for working with independent kitchen retailers and advising them on the membership services offered by MHK. Woodworth has 14 years’ experience in the KBB sector and the majority of this time was in the appliance industry with brands including Indesit, Liebherr and BSH’s kitchen division. Paul Wheeler, sales director for MHK UK, said: “We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team. His extensive knowledge and experience will make a significant contribution in our ability to reach out to many more independent retailers and tell them about the benefits that membership of Europe’s largest buying group brings.”


MASTERCLASS KITCHENS JESSICA GREEN BECCA VINCENT


Masterclass Kitchens has added to its marketing team with the appointment of Becca Vincent as digital content executive (pictured left) and Jessica Green as marketing administrator (right). The marketing team are responsible for supporting its retail partners as well as connecting directly with consumers. Vincent joins the team from the marketing department of a conservation charity and will be responsible for creating content for the Masterclass website, social media channels and e-mail campaigns. Green is a new graduate and will work with the team to produce marketing initiatives, including data and lead management, market research and distribution of marketing materials.
