IBMS Congress: previewing the UK’s largest biomedical science exhibition
The free-to-attend trade exhibition running alongside IBMS Congress is the UK’s largest gathering of biomedical science suppliers. Here Pathology in Practice continues its preview, featuring the leading diagnostic companies.

AnatoPath is an independent, UK based supplier of quality anatomical pathology products for use in histology, cytology and immunohistochemistry. For the first time in the UK, AnatoPath will be showing the Cision Vision InVision system. This provides live images at dissection, which allows users to easily identify lymph nodes, even in very fatty tissue.

Congress, the 2025 event marks a two- year milestone – the perfect opportunity to share its impact and how it continues to evolve to meet the current and future needs of clinical laboratories. Notably, the DxI 9000 Analyser has seen significant menu expansion. Over the past two years, Beckman Coulter has introduced more than 62 new assays for use on the DxI 9000, including tests for anaemia, cardiac care, diabetes, infectious diseases, reproductive health, and sepsis, to name just a few.
Additionally, the DxH 900 Workcell
will be present at Congress, which is now integrated with Scopio Labs. This enables the capture of large scan areas at 100x magnification, virtually eliminating the need for additional manual microscopic examination.
