from nominations, five category winning posters will be displayed in the Residential Conference exhibition area, and an electronic presentation of all poster applications will be available for delegates to view. Delegates will then be invited to vote for the overall winner, who will be announced at the Residential Conference. A slot on the agenda will be available for the winning applicant to present their poster.

Dawn Stott, AfPP CEO, said: “The event offers a truly multidisciplinary programme which is accessible to nurses, operating department practitioners, surgical care practitioners, surgical first assistants, specialist practitioners, healthcare support workers, managers and lecturers. Whilst it may be difficult for delegates to choose between the streams, we have tried to include similar themes across the streams and we hope that everyone can take something away with them to improve their own practice.”
