Cross-sector event to be held at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium The Institute is preparing for the upcoming season of conferences and events, starting next month, promising valuable CPD and networking opportunities to all participants. Please note the following updates and final confirmation of details for the IHEEM Ireland & HSE in partnership with UHEI Sector Conference: the event will now be held on 1 April at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin (pictured). The conference will bring together estate management professionals from both the higher education and healthcare sectors, and will focus on Ireland’s strategic priorities in healthcare infrastructure, addressing key developments and challenges. Attendees will gain insight into modernising healthcare facilities while ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and patient care. Guest speakers will analyse strategies to reduce carbon emissions, share successes, and discuss lessons learned in making large- scale projects more sustainable. Additionally, the conference provides opportunities for delegates to network, share ideas, and learn about cross-collaboration projects across sectors. Innovative solutions to current challenges addressed The IHEEM Innovation in Healthcare Conference and Exhibition 2025, hosted by the East Midlands Branch, will take place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on 9 April. The event will feature a day of presentations addressing current challenges in healthcare and showcasing innovative solutions. Guest speakers will present on topics including ‘Human Conscious Design Principles for Neurodivergence’, the Carbon & Energy Fund framework, and geothermal solutions for achieving Net Zero, as well as ventilation and water systems for enhancing patient care. The event will feature an exhibition with products, services, and technologies displayed, offering attendees the opportunity to explore the latest solutions in healthcare.
