Redeveloped Head Office’s smart and contemporary feel
IHEEM’s Portsmouth Head Office team returned to its permanent site in Portsmouth in November 2024, following the completion of an extensive renovation and modernisation project. Careful consideration has been given to the efficiency of the development, with the installation of an air source heat pump, smart lighting solutions, and triple-glazed windows.
The ground floor of the building has seen a sleek and practical transformation, and now offers a flexible meeting and training facility, designated
NI Branch discusses plans for the next year
IHEEM’s Northern Ireland Branch hosted its Annual Business Meeting at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast. During the ABM the
Committee discussed the plans for the upcoming year, the success of the previous year, and highlighted future technical seminars. Branch members also enjoyed an informative tour
of the stadium, learning about the history of the Irish Football Association.
The new Northern Ireland Branch Chairman, Michael McCloskey, said: ‘I look forward
to taking on the role of the NI Branch Chairman. Our Committee members are dedicated to providing guidance and development opportunities for engineers and Estates managers in the healthcare sector. It is important that the Branch continues to support its members and offers accessible CPD opportunities to enhance their knowledge and understanding. I look forward to working with the new Committee, and to growing Institute membership within Northern Ireland.”
