Conductive Plastics event returns to Europe for 2017


New electrical and electronic applications in fast growing sectors such as electric and autonomous vehicles, wireless communications and low energy consumption LED lighting are driving demand for polymer materials that offer thermal and/or electrical conductivity without sacrificing mechanical perfor- mance and, most importantly, ease of processing. It is a tough challenge for both polymer developers and engineering designers, who are being called upon to work with new and unfamiliar materials that often require a ground-up rethink in terms of application but which hold the potential to deliver huge weight and cost savings, as well as improved system performance.
