BASF’s additives to carry carbon data
BASF can now offer plastic additives customers product carbon footprints (PCFs) for a number of antioxidants and light stabilisers as a premium service within its Valeras portfolio. Using proprietary digital tools and validated calcula- tions, BASF said it can now provide cradle-to-gate PCFs comprising total green- house gas emissions that occur from extraction of resources through the manufacturing of precursors to manufacture of the final chemical product. “With this digital solution,

Unipetrol acquires
