NGR grows its presence in Asia
Austrian recycling systems manufacturer Next Generation Recycling- maschinen (NGR) is expanding its activities in China and South East Asia. The company, which has
had a customer care centre in China for three years, has moved into the new German Centre Taicang, located at Taicang in Jiangsu province, and appointed Singapore national Jeffrey Tan as its new sales director from July. NGR also announced that Anhui Green Recycling and Environmental Protection Research Centre has been appointed as an authorised partner for customer trials and technical support in Hefei, in Anhui province. ❙

expand Weber’s consulting and technical assistance functions, especially in the automotive sector. Weber will also take on distribu- tion of some other Poliblend Group products, notably TPEs from Celloplast and colour and additive masterbatches from Esseti Plast. Following recent investments,
Poliblend Group now has around 25,000 tonnes/year of PA, PBT and acetal compounding capacity, plus 2,000 tonnes/yr of TPE and 1,000 tonnes/yr of masterbatch. ❙

Polyram to manufacture in US
Engineering plastics compounder Polyram Group is to build its first US production facility, which will be located on the Vanderburgh Industrial Park at Evansville in Indiana. Renovation work will begin shortly on a
9,000 m2 leased facility, with operations expected
to begin in early 2018. Around 50 jobs are expect- ed to be created by 2022; recruitment of a plant manager and HR manager will take place during the summer. Polyram was founded in 1986 at Ram-On,
Israel. It currently has two production facilities in Israel and one in China, plus warehouse and sales operations in Ohio, Spain, France, UK, China, Germany, Italy and Russia. The new US investment is supported by $275,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, which will also provide Vanderburgh County with up to $50,000 in infrastructure assistance. ❙

It distributes speciality pigments, resins and additives to the coatings, inks, plastic and cosmetics industries, mainly across China. These include high performance and effect pigments, resins and kaolin. It also has an application lab for coatings. ❙
