It uses RTK GPS, AI and vision to detect and selec- tively spray weeds with a micro-dose of herbicide. The centimetre- precise detection and spraying reduces the use of herbicides by up to 95%. Most striking detail is the spot spraying technology with up to 24 cm² spray resolution on the ground. Active in France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. Availability: In 2021 Avo will be tested further and 15 zero series models will follow in 2022, costing around € 90,000. Ecorobotix plans to have another robot on sale in the spring of 2021.
Ekobot GEN-2 weed removal robot for row-grown vegetables

The company says the most striking detail is its ability to re- move weeds as close as 1 cm to the crop with no or minimal interference with the crop. Weed removal is done without using chemicals. There are currently three GEN-2 robots being tested in Sweden. Availability: pilot installations are planned in the Netherlands and Sweden in 2021.
