7 more precision- farming products and kit upgrades

In our regular new products section, our editorial team describe technological developments from around the world that can help improve farm productivity.

Topcon Agriculture announces the release of it’s XD and XD+ touchscreen consoles with an upgraded user interface experi- ence, Horizon 5. With Topcon Agriculture Platform (TAP) integration, the consoles are designed to provide farmers with full-fea- ture customisation to optimise their invest- ment because they are only paying for the capabilities they need. Topcon says farmers can immediately take advantage of off-the- shelf features such as basic guidance, task management, universal ISO-UT compatibil- ity, and TAP Fields to manage farm data. Additional features can be unlocked for use with the full range of Topcon sensors and application control technology. The new consoles are designed to be ready for ap- plications such as soil preparation, seeding, crop care, harvesting, weighing and data services. The consoles are available as 7-inch and 12.1-inch screens, including new day and night modes.
