Santa Clarita, CA — H2W Tech - nologies has introduced a high-accel- eration, voice coil driven, x/y position- ing stage with a precision bearing sys- tem, which minimizes the amount of pitch, yaw and roll in a system. The voice coil stage, VCS06-


010-BS-01-MXY, is a closed-loop positioning system that can be used for positioning applications. The stage utilizes a custom, low-profile design that uti- lizes a unique electromagnetic circuit design. The motor has a two-axis planar coil assem- bly that interacts with a com- mon magnetic circuit. This circuit design allows for a minimal overall height of 2.1 in. (53 mm). Each axis has a 0.62 in. (15.8 mm) stroke, gen- erates 0.75 lb (3.3 N) of con- tinuous force and 2.25 lb (10 N) of peak force. Each axis is guided by precision
