Following pressure from the RYA, Westerly Owners’ Association, Cruising Association and the wider recreational boating community, Calor Gas has reversed its decision to withdraw supply of its small cylinders. However, due to limited supplies they can currently only exchange cylinders on a one-for-one basis and can’t swap large cylinders for smaller sizes or issue new cylinders. Carol Paddison, RYA Interim Cruising
Manager, said: ‘We thank Calor for acting on the feedback they received. Although fully reinstating the bottles will take time, doing so recognises how their withdrawal would’ve impacted many recreational boaters.’ At time of writing there was no statement on Calor’s website ˖Ѓ˥ˠ˜˚ ˧˛˘ ˗˘˖˜˦˜ʡ
