HRH The Princess Royal becomes President, following in the footsteps of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, continuing the royal family’s close connection with the RYA

Home Olympic and Paralympic Games hosted in London, with sailing held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy

We break new ground by delivering training in Mandarin across China, and introduced the Trinity House RYA Yachtmaster Scholarship, nurturing future maritime professionals
