Known as a sole survivor, Waverley is the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer. This season it's celebrating 50 years as a living and working steam heritage attraction. In 1974, at the end of its working life as a coastal passenger vessel, Waverley was gifted for £1 to the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society. In 1975 it started


a new life operating in preservation and has since carried over six million passengers.

Waverley offers regular trips on the Clyde, Thames and Bristol Channel as well as to the Western Isles and the South Coast of England, with calls at Liverpool and Llandudno.
