My Turn It appears that our premier

Ford has taken a page from Mr. Trumps play book and is refusing to attend the hearings on the ac- tivities in Ottawa last winter. Is Mr. Ford suddenly getting too big for his saddle with his fantastic election win. He needs to come down off is high horse or he may find that he is in last place in the next race. It has happened many times before. Some television commer-

cials are still annoying me. The one where the performers are not allowed to move their feet -

what’s that all about? The annoying pitchman for

the insurance company that run commercials every few minutes is still on my fantasy list to cap- ture him and tie him up in a mos- quito infested swamp. Christmas is a few weeks

away. Please remember to give generously to all the animal res- cue groups. I rescued a cat from the Welland Cat Adoption Centre two weeks before Christmas last year. She has been my best friend ever since. I have no idea why she was given up for adoption in the first place. Please remember to report

any suspicions you may have of elderly, child or spousal abuse. Report it to the proper authori-

ties. If you don’t know who to call contact The Rider as soon as possible. We will advise you of who to contact. Don’t forget the Veterans on Remembrance Day. Attend your local Cenotaph and observe see the names on the monument and reflect on the fact that they gave up their lives for us.
