Pop Art “Poppy”

IN MEMORIAM - We offer our sincerest sympa- thies to the family and friends of Pop Art “Poppy” (Amsterdam x Cabochon), a Dutch Warmblood gelding, owned by Ian & Moreen Nicoll and Rusty Holzer, who passed away at the age of 25 on Oct. 20, 2022. Pop Art retired in No-

vember 2012 after partner- ing with four-time Olympian Ashley Holzer in major competitions includ- ing the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 FEI World

Cup Final in Las Vegas and 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington. Pop Art continued competing in CDI’s for two more years with Jill Irving in Devon, PA and Wellington, FL. Amongst Pop Art’s

many achievements on the international stage, the fa- mous horse touched many lives throughout his life and was a dear member of the Holzer family. He was the little horse that would and was surrounded by many who loved and cared for him. Poppy will be deeply missed.
