away the competition with a perfect performance in the final leg of the OLG Ontario Women’s Driving Championship, which opened the Friday night (Oct. 14) card at The Raceway at Western Fair District. Day swept all six challenge races in the final

Women’s Driving Championship, Day was awarded $2,000 in prize money, plus a set of cus- tom-made summer driving silks from Graham’s Racing Silks.
The women donated their
earnings from the championship series to Harness the Hope, which raises funds, awareness and supports programs that help those affected by cancer. The Day-driven Mister X
was voted “Best Dressed Horse” as part of on-track Harness the Hope 17th anniversary festivi- ties.
