12/ JUNE 2022 THE RIDER System Fencing celebrating 35 years System Equine is cel-
ebrating 35 years in the business. System Fencing is an industry leader in North America in provid- ing a variety of equine products ranging from complete stall systems to horse fencing. At System Equine horse people can shop for all of their equip- ment and accessory needs in one place. Dwayne Job, Founder
and President of System Equine, started the busi- ness in high school, while working at
the front
counter of his father’s feed store. One day a customer came into the store and asked if they offered fenc- ing services. At the time they did not, but Job’s re- sponse was a yes. From that point on, they were in the fencing business. Job recalled, “We felt there was a need for high-end products similar to Flex Fencing in the market- place.” After graduating from
Guelph University with a Management Economics degree, Job started running the business full time.
Mia Sabetti, tack store manager with a System flyer from 25 years ago System Equine’s mis-
sion is to provide their cus- tomers with the best fence and stall systems, the best service and selection, in- cluding the best quality and price. they are com- mitted to growing the equine industry as a whole. Supporting youth and other “up and coming” equine enthusiasts is im- portant to the people at
System Equine. System Equine has al-
ways been a very active contributor to therapeutic riding associations from The Equestrian Associa- tion for the Disabled (TEAD), Sunrise Thera- peutic Riding and Learn- ing
Centre, Sari
Therapeutic Riding and many others. Job said, “I believe in giving back to
the industry that gives to you.” Job said he attributes
the business’s success over the past three and a half decades to always looking after their customers, say- ing, “We combine excel- lent service with a high degree of knowledge into helping our customers.” Some of System’s big
accomplishments in the last five years include property purchased in Fer- gus for new manufacturing facility coming soon. They will keep their existing property and move the production welding and fabrication shop to the new facility as well as investing in a powder coat line to do everything within their own building. This will in- crease capacity and reduce lead times. System Equine has
been doing custom stalls for Amber Marshall’s barn. “We have worked for many celebrities over the years and this year we had the pleasure of working with Amber from Heart- land,” says Job. He goes on to say
“We have a new laser cut- ter that has made creating skins for windows and dutch doors fast and easy.” System Equine has
completed a number of large projects all over North America and has just secured large project in the Bahamas. “We also sold an exerciser to Abu Dhabi”. System Equine will
continue to support barns and clubs that have formed a partnership with system over the years, especially during COVID. Job’s said “the horse
industry has been very supportive of us over the last 35 years and we have been very supportive back. Working with big and small shows, therapeutic riding facilities, groups and organizations have help us to stay grounded in the community. We look forward to the next 10 years and developing the next generations of Fenc- ing, Stalls & Equipment.” For more information
