LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE Tile and wet room supplier Quantum Group NI has launched a new trade website, designed to provide both customers and tradespeople with the key information they need quickly and easily.

The new website includes useful features, such as the ability to search by product category, name or stock number. This allows visitors to quickly find the exact product they are searching for, while also highlighting recommended products that are relevant to the website user.

The website is designed to be as simple as possible for visitors to use, so individual product pages include various product images, data sheets and instructional videos.

NEW UPDATES ANNOUNCED FOR

CERSAIE 2020 Ceramics and bathroom exhibition Cersaie will return to Bologna in 2020, with an increased floor space of 180,000 square metres and bathroom furnishings taking centre stage.

With the countdown to Cersaie 2020 now under way, the show is preparing to make two major changes. The first difference to the popular annual event will be an overall increase in exhibition space, allowing for a more rational floor layout and greater attention to the bathroom furnishing sector. The second is a significant step forward in the Open Cersaie concept, the new exhibition format launched last year.

Following the construction of the new hall 37, the largest covered space in the entire exhibition centre due to be inaugurated for Cersaie 2020, the space available at the show will be increased to 180,000 square metres, almost 20,000 square metres more than last year. This significant increase in space will meet the growing demands of exhibitor companies. Following the opening of halls 28,

informational content and videos will be added to ensure the new site provides a wealth of information to the tiling trade. Furthermore, the website includes an extensive brochure download area, brand overview pages and a useful news page, which will be regularly updated.

The new site features the full range of Quantum products, including tile trims, tile backer boards, tanking kits, tile saws and various tiling tools and accessories. The website is designed to bring the products online, so those searching for products are quickly able to view the product benefits and also the service they can expect when stocking Quantum products. The products are not available to purchase online, but the site instead acts as a detailed online brochure, allowing visitors to browse images, information and videos relating to the extensive Quantum range.

29 and 30 at Cersaie 2018, the construction of this new hall marks the second important step in the exhibition centre redevelopment project with further work on halls and common areas due to be completed in 2024.

The opening of the new hall 37 will provide an opportunity to reorganise the exhibition spaces in general to ensure that areas with the same product categories are closer together and to improve the functionality of the exhibition centre as a whole.

In particular, the bathroom furniture companies will occupy a central position at Cersaie in the five halls 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30, surrounded by producers of ceramic tiles, non- ceramic surfaces, installation and showroom materials and glaze and colour producers. There will be two other important changes. First, more than 41,000 square metres of floor space will be assigned to the bathroom furnishing companies,

Scott McCormack, Internal Team Lead at Quantum, said “We’re very excited to launch our brand-new website, in line with our culture of continuous improvement. We feel it’s a great step forward in enhancing the Quantum experience for our customers and tradespeople alike, offering easy access to details of our quality products. Enjoy browsing!”

The Quantum sales team will always be available to provide product advice and information; however, Quantum recognised an increasing number of customers and tradespeople were beginning their searches online. The website will co-exist alongside the dedicated Quantum team to continue to meet customer demands across Ireland.

which means that the sector will occupy more than a quarter of the entire exhibition floor. Secondly, halls 22 and 30 will bring together a variety of different sectors – ceramic tiles, bathroom furnishings and other surfaces – in-keeping with the stimulating new Open Cersaie exhibition concept.
