WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?
I worked as a potwash in the kitchens for a local health spa.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE TILE/STONE
INDUSTRY? I got into the tiling industry after leaving London. I was not enjoying my chosen career path and was looking for something different.
WHO, IN ANY OTHER INDUSTRY, DO YOU
MOST ADMIRE? Jürgen Klopp as he seems to be a great motivator and manager. He understands success does not come overnight.

WOULD YOU BUY? Aston Martin DB9, although I’m not really a big car person.

WHAT WOULD IT BE? A teleporter, so that you could move to and from appointments within seconds; it would

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU
WERE GROWING UP? I would have liked to be a veterinarian, but I’m not good with blood so that was unlikely to happen.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO UNWIND?
Having a young child means you are constantly on the go, so I rarely have time to unwind.
IF YOU COULD HOST A DINNER PARTY WITH
ANY THREE GUESTS, DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO WOULD THEY
BE AND WHY? Elvis, Michael Jordan and Tutankhamun. Elvis, as I like his music; Michael Jordan, as he was a hero of mine growing up; and Tutankhamun, because I enjoy Egyptian history.
IF YOU COULD VISIT ANY PLACE IN THE
WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU
GO AND WHY? I’d really like to go to West Canada and particularly journey on the Rocky Mountaineer. I just think the open country is such a beautiful place to be.

YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? I actually admire many brands in the industry – I think we have lots of great brands and companies working in our sector. I will both respect and support any company within our industry who drives standards, innovates and, above all, promotes quality.
