Promenading onto our screens on Christmas Day 2020, Bridgerton quickly became the most-watched series on Netflix and brought with it a new take on period dramas. Based on the popular novels by Julia Quinn, the drama takes place in 19th-century London and shares the trials and tribulations of high society during the Regency era. Whilst a manor house may be far from the reach of most people, modern interior design presents several opportunities to emulate the Bridgerton aesthetic in today’s homes. With stunning parquet floors being a prominent feature in many of the houses featured on the show, Bridgerton provides yet another excuse to incorporate the sought-after herringbone style into our living spaces. Elegant and subdued, Wedgewood Blue comprised the colour palette for the Bridgerton household. Pale blues, creams and subtle golds are a great way to subtly achieve the look in today’s homes.
