COSHH Monitoring by The Institute of Occupational Medicine
ABOUT THIS PRODUCT...
Every year, 1.8 million people suffer from work-related ill health - 49% of which are physical health challenges. Of those suffering 12,000 die from lung disease exposures linked to past exposures at work (HSE 2022).
Workplace-related ill health is a growing problem, and one that IOM is stepping up to solve.

In 2023 alone, IOM was working with over 70 different clients across more than 150 sites. Our specialist team of occupational hygienists have kept thousands of UK workers safe from physical and airborne threats thanks to our COSHH monitoring.
Our approach is straightforward: to work with Health and Safety Managers, Estates & Facilities Professionals, as well as Occupational Health Experts; bringing a deeper understanding of hazards and exposures so that action can be taken. With the support of IOM’s UKAS accredited laboratory, samples are tested and analysed before our occupation hygienists shares their findings and recommendations.
Armed with this knowledge, we ensure protective changes are made throughout construction sites, offices, factories, classrooms, and hospitals. As an organisation we have dealt with everything from soot build-ups on railways to respirable crystalline silica exposures on construction sites, from Covid in teaching classrooms to formaldehyde in funeral homes.
Keeping everyone safe and clients ahead of regulation.
Why choose IOM? Because IOM’s purpose is to protect and improve the health of all staff through the workplace and wider environment.
The level of workplace illness is too high and shouldn’t be tolerated. While governments have a responsibility to do more, we help organisations everywhere make small changes that will benefit their health and ultimately profit.
We go beyond the work and take care of the people. Offering support and impartial advice on how to deliver compliant environments. Doing so because we recognise that the real enabler of healthier environments is educating people and encouraging the right working behaviours.
Huw Wooldridge said: “The staff are exceedingly knowledgeable and clearly experts within their field. A trusted company I would recommend to anyone.”
