An Evac+Chair is a life-saving piece of equipment and plays a key role in the emergency evacuation of disabled, and mobility impaired individuals. Crucial to a safe evacuation is ensuring you have trained, competent operators, to avoid impeding the evacuation and to safeguard those with access barriers.
With a team of dedicated, highly skilled training consultants, located across the UK, Evac+Chair’s industry leading training courses are adapted to meet the needs of the customers environment, aligned to the needs of their personnel and aims to instil delegate confidence and competence. Providing practical, hands-on, step-by-step training, allows delegates to experience all elements of operating the Evac+Chair, and is supported by an informative theory session. Evac+Chair training equips individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate equipment correctly; minimising the risk of injury, to enable a safe and seamless evacuation.
Evac+Chair offers Operator and Key Trainer courses, with each course designed for two to four delegates and ranging from 2.5 hours to four hours, the courses give complete confidence to any organisation they can evacuate everyone. The Operator Trainer course is designed to train delegates in the operation of the Evac+Chair, whereas the Key Trainer course is ideal for larger organisations that require multiple persons to be trained, allowing the certified delegates to cascade the training to others within the workplace. Training courses are valid for three years, after which it is recommended that all delegates refresh their knowledge and practical experience; regular practice will ensure operators are confident and prepared for any eventuality.
