Glove wearers can experience a new level of comfort with the uvex Bamboo TwinFlex D xg, an 18-gauge glove that balances cut protection level D with excellent sensitivity and impressive wearer comfort.
The bamboo-viscose material allows for a flexible fit that adapts precisely to the shape of the hand within three to five minutes and supports touchscreen use making it easy to switch between tasks. Furthermore, the bamboo fibre offers a silky soft feel against the skin and is dermatologically tested for skin compatibility. The glove’s smooth fit, fast sweat absorption and high moisture retention ensure long- lasting comfort and excellent wearer acceptance.
What sets the uvex Bamboo TwinFlex D xg apart?
No other manufacturer uses bamboo in the production of its high cut resistant gloves thanks to the patented yarn technology. The combination of the fine 18-gauge yarn, together with the unique formula of the Xtra-Grip coating, ensures wearers enjoy high levels of comfort and cut protection without limiting their performance of intricate tasks.
A high level of protection against abrasion and cut hazards is ensured by high-performance fibres, which provide cut protection at 4X41D according to EN 388:2016. The additional uvex protexxion zone between the thumb and index finger delivers double the abrasion resistance (200%) compared to the inside of the glove to increase its service life and durability. Meanwhile, the Xtra-Grip aqua-polymer foam coating offers excellent grip in dry and slightly damp or oily conditions.
The glove is also suitable for contact warmth up to +100C in accordance with EN 407.
In addition to its performance benefits, the uvex Bamboo TwinFlex D xg scores highly on sustainability. It has a long service life and is made from 45% recycled polyamide and bamboo viscose, which is based on renewable raw materials. It also benefits from CO2-neutral production in uvex’s German facilities and is free from solvents.
