The Vortex3 is suitable for area and environmental monitoring including applications such as biosampling, indoor air studies, asbestos monitoring, and long-term background monitoring. Users would typically include building contractors and occupational hygiene personnel that would need to establish the presence of asbestos and other contaminants in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
The Vortex3 brings genuine innovation in terms of new technology and ease of use. Using Casella’s patent-pending, interlocking design, the Vortex3 has an ergonomically comfortable handle and weighs just 2.37kg, meaning the Vortex3 offers a life-saving solution without the operatives’ manoeuvrability being hindered.
The Vortex3 model is compatible with Casella’s pioneering Airwave App and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to remotely start, pause or stop a measurement run, monitor battery life and memory capacity and check measurement progress direct from a mobile device. The ability to check the pump remotely can save operatives from having to enter a contaminated area until absolutely necessary, reducing personal exposure. Data can be emailed alongside photos and site details, adding context to the sampling and further simplifying the reporting process. This remote access facility makes monitoring and data collection easier, safer and faster and is unique to the Vortex3. Eliminating manual reporting not only reduces effort but provides additional traceability and removes the possibility of data being recorded incorrectly.
