Founded 21 years ago by Chris Rogers and Peter Rochford in the heart of Watford, the company has a passion and commitment to offer a high-quality cleaning and support services to both commercial and education clients.


Having organically grown over the years with a reputation to be proud of, today the business has a turnover of over £15m, employs in excess of 1,400 staff across the UK to include a broad and diversely experienced operational management team all of which support over 200+ client sites.


Being ISO 9001 |14001 |45001 accredited for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety, and active corporate members of professional associations such as BICSc, SafeContractor, CHAS and Achilles reaffirms the company’s commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement in raising standards, which has been the forefront of the business ethos since the beginning.


Several factors have contributed to the success of the business and as a direct result of engaging with their clients from contract award, working collaboratively together throughout the whole contract tenure with communication being vital it has meant client retention has been high.


Since inception a strong focus for the business has been employee retention and welfare in every aspect and they proudly boast having possibly the highest personnel retention level in the industry currently at 96.2%. This can be evidenced by the number of staff being with the company for numerous years with never having a reason to leave.


After 21 years of continuous business, CleanTEC Services Limited became

an employee-owned business on 4th March 2021, making them one of the first companies to do this within the cleaning industry.


Peter Rochford, Director of CleanTEC, said: “We have just celebrated our 21st year in business, and it has been a great time to reflect on the efforts of all our employees. We wanted to sustain the future of the business and safeguard the culture of the company. This change means that our workers will be recognized as more than just employees but partners in something that they have helped create.”
