EVENT PREVIEW: CLEANING INTERACTIVE
Ceris Burns, MD of CBI VR Experiences, shares how a new virtual event which champions innovation, is tailor-made for facilities management decision makers.
Hygiene and infection prevention have become a priority for facilities, with the importance of enhanced and frequent cleaning of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly being emphasised like never before. There are significant innovations being developed by the cleaning industry to ensure facilities managers can provide the highest standards of sanitation.
Now the sector has the opportunity to safely learn more about these cleaning and facilities management innovations at Cleaning Interactive, the cleaning industry’s first high-tech event incorporating visualisation technology. The digital event takes place online from 6th - 7th October 2020.
The focus for this free-to-attend event is to showcase innovation in a safe and effective format. It enables healthcare professionals to discover the latest developments, products and services, technical changes and legislation affecting cleaning operations.
What’s different about this event? Many companies are looking for a new way to boost their business safely and effectively, so we came up with this fresh approach that rips up the rule book on the format of industry events. It enables the industry to safely and effectively engage with valuable new customers and showcase their innovations. The market is ripe for something new, that grabs the attention, drives business and is cost-effective.
The event combines a digital exhibition platform with a smart interactive stage and mixed reality technology,
with an intuitive, user-friendly interface, for an almost full sensory experience. It also requires minimal set up and staffing on behalf of the exhibitor.
How is this different from other events? This is not a cut and paste of a live event, nor is it simply an online directory. This is truly the only virtual event for the cleaning world that incorporates a branded booth platform, where you can see, and properly interact with prospective customers. We also have a world first virtual broadcast studio with a 3D bespoke set and augmented reality – visitors dial into the studio and see themselves on the wall in the room with you. In this way you can make eye contact, and answer their questions in real time. Find out more here.

Whilst this pandemic has been extremely tough, it’s also taught us new ways of communicating and emphasised the fact that we don’t have to physically be in the same room as each other to do serious business.
Some of the fresh-thinking organisations and brands who have committed to being involved in this virtual cleaning event as exhibitors and supporters include the British Institute of Cleaning Science; Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies; CBRE; Churchill Group Services; Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA); Denis Rawlins; Facilicom UK and Ireland; GOJO Industries-Europe; The Hillbrush Company; Incentive QAS; Katrin; Metsä; Metzger; the National Carpet Cleaners Association; Purex; SAVORTEX; SiteZone Safety; The Cheeky Panda; Unger; and the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.
