Over 100 staff, customers, suppliers and professional partners gathered at Fora in London’s Spitalfields Market to mark the launch of DOC Cleaning’s long term sustainability strategy – Beyond Cleaning.
PETER BUFF PROMOTED TO MANAGING DIRECTOR AT KINGDOM CLEANING
Kingdom Cleaning, a cleaning and soft services provider, has a new Managing Director at the helm, following the recent promotion of Peter Buff.
The event was organised to showcase DOC’s work on sustainability to date and to outline a variety of initiatives under the headline ‘Our vision is to empower everyone we connect with to take positive action for the planet and society’.

RELATIONSHIP WITH M&S Wates Smartspace has been appointed to deliver a full-line fit- out on behalf of Marks and Spencer (M&S) at the brand new £60m Stane Retail Park in Colchester, which will see the creation of a total of 173,000 sq ft retail space.

Hannah Dean-Wood, Engagement Manager for Planet Mark introduced DOC’s carbon reduction objectives and Elise Craig, Programme Manager from the Living Wage Foundation spoke about the importance to DOC staff and the many thousands of similar employees of being paid the Real Living Wage, especially in view of the current cost of living crisis.

Wates Smartspace’s work at Stane Retail Park will include the fit- out of M&S’s new two-floor store, comprising a 16,000 sq ft food hall, 44,000 sq ft of clothing and home retail space and a 3,000 sq ft cafe.
The cleaning experts will also share their ‘Remove, Improve & Protect’ cleaning method, which not only delivers consistent, measurable results, but also leaves surfaces protected against future infection.
The appointment follows a period of engagement between Wates Smartspace, M&S and Stane Retail Park developers, with Wates supporting M&S with project feasibility and agreeing of shell specification since 2017.

Over the years I have met so many business owners who have struggled to win the war on grease, that is, until they adopted our cleaning regimes.
