WHAT’S NEW?
SAVE MONEY WITH P50 SERVICE-FREE FIRE
EXTINGUISHERS The P50 fire extinguisher offers you substantial cost savings, in fact, it offers more than 50% savings on your fire extinguisher and maintenance costs over a ten-year period. Their unique construction means that P50 extinguishers are service-free and do not require an external fire extinguisher engineer to visit your site.
Instead, safelincs will train your staff to carry out a simple visual inspection, avoiding the need for ongoing visits. You can carry out your annual visual inspection at a time that is convenient to you, with no disruption to your customers or visitors on site. In addition, the P50 can help you meet your environmental targets too.
You don’t have to test and discharge P50s every five years and due to their robust corrosion-proof construction, they can be factory refurbished after 10 years and used for a further 10 years. After their 20- year life most of the extinguishers’
components can be recycled.
The P50 foam extinguisher can help reduce the number of fire extinguishers you will need on site too. The P50 foam extinguisher can be used on class A (flammable solids), B (flammable liquids) and electrical fires (up to 1000 volts). This means that you can replace your traditional combination of a standard foam or water and a CO2 extinguisher with one P50 foam extinguisher. With one extinguisher that can cover such a wide range of fires, decision-paralysis is avoided and a small fire can be tackled much faster.
Water mist is an exciting addition to the P50 range, and is exclusive to Safelincs. These extinguishers have a broad fire-fighting capability, are completely safe on electricity up to 1000 Volt and combine the benefits of P50 service-free technology with the eco-friendly medium of de- ionised water.
P50 service-free fire extinguishers are made in the UK and are Kitemarked to BS EN3 by BSI and CE marked, so you can be assured that they are manufactured to the highest
quality and performance standards.
Many companies, such as Kier, Empire Cinemas, Thames Valley Police and Mitie, have already made the switch and are enjoying the benefits of the P50 extinguisher. Safelincs can offer a bespoke management system to enable you to change over to the P50 in a way that fits in with your needs. When you purchase P50 service-free fire extinguishers from Safelincs we will include a free site survey, ensuring that you install only the number of extinguishers that you require, full installation of your new extinguishers, wall signs, certification and training so that your staff are fully competent in carrying out the annual visual inspection.
The company can also provide you with a free online fire logbook, with a free reminder service prompt when an inspection is due. This online logbook can help you keep track of all your fire safety inspections, including fire alarms, emergency lights and fire drills.
